Mirror Image

Elephant mirror image. When we look at ourselves in the mirror we see our reflection. But sometimes the reflection is not all you see. What is on the inside does not always match the outside. Sometimes there is fear, stress, and anxiety brought on by a multitude of things such as a pandemic. COVID-19 has brought out all of this. Inside the heart, you will find a flower that is dead, symbolizing feelings of emptiness and loneliness. But, coming out of the edges are new buds: new life, the rebirth of feelings. The elephants looking at one another are very similar but slightly different. Sometimes when I look in the mirror I don’t see myself I see just a reflection. The bold background represents how strong and intense underlying feelings can be.
