About
Right now, more than ever I am not myself. I do not want my current self to define who I am at the moment. I grew up in Alabama where it rains a lot. The flowers get sprinkled with freshwater and new buds appear. New buds and water droplets represent the calm after the storm to me, not before. The peace at mind that things will be ok and are beautiful even if it is not right now. I miss home more than anything. Creating and expressing myself through my art has helped me get out of the cage of my powerful thoughts. One day things will get better. Art is a powerful tool that is an international visual language expressed around the world. Right now, my voice and thoughts are being spoken through the imagery of my art. The complex geometric striped background represents my thoughts that are going in every direction some are colorful some are dark.
